Disclaimer

Please read this disclaimer carefully before contacting Malcolm Kingley or requesting prayer.

1. What is offered

Malcolm Kingley (“Practitioner”) offers Christian Science prayer only. The sole activity offered through this website, by telephone, by video, by email, or by any other means is prayer in the tradition of Christian Science as set forth in the Bible and in Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy.

The purpose of that prayer is a clearer understanding of God and of man, and of the relationship between God and man. It is the conviction of the Practitioner, and the historic teaching of Christian Science, that such spiritual understanding brings about healing scientifically, according to the Bible. Any healing that follows is understood to be the work of God, not of any person, technique, product, or service.

2. What is NOT offered

Nothing offered by Malcolm Kingley or the Kingley Foundation is medical, clinical, or professional care of any kind. Specifically, the Practitioner does not:

  • practice medicine, nursing, surgery, dentistry, or any healing art licensed by any state;
  • diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate, or prevent any disease, illness, injury, or condition;
  • provide psychotherapy, counseling, psychological, psychiatric, or mental-health services;
  • provide substance-use, crisis, or suicide-intervention services;
  • prescribe, recommend, adjust, supply, or advise against any drug, medication, supplement, device, diet, or treatment;
  • advise anyone to begin, delay, refuse, discontinue, or alter any medical or professional care;
  • provide legal, financial, tax, accounting, insurance, or other professional advice;
  • hold himself out as a physician, therapist, counselor, licensed healthcare provider, or other licensed professional.

The Practitioner is not licensed by any state as a healthcare provider and makes no claim to any such license. No practitioner-patient, physician-patient, therapist-client, attorney-client, or fiduciary relationship is created by use of this website or by receiving prayer.

3. No guarantee of results

No result, outcome, healing, improvement, or benefit of any kind is promised, guaranteed, warranted, or implied. Testimonies, statements of healing, or historical accounts that may appear on this website are individual accounts of personal religious experience. They are not evidence, are not typical, are not clinically verified, and must not be relied upon as a prediction of any outcome for any other person.

4. Your free and independent choice

Every person is entirely free to choose their own form of care. The choice to rely upon Christian Science prayer, upon medical care, upon both, or upon neither is at all times the sole, voluntary, and independent decision of the individual (or of a parent, guardian, or legal representative acting for another). Malcolm Kingley and the Kingley Foundation neither require nor request that anyone forgo, delay, or discontinue medical or professional care as a condition of prayer.

Emergencies: This website is not an emergency service and is not monitored continuously. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or your local emergency number immediately. In the United States, if you are in crisis or having thoughts of self-harm, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline).

5. Minors and persons under care of others

Prayer will not be undertaken for a minor or for any person who is not competent to request it, except at the request of that person’s parent, legal guardian, or lawful representative. Parents, guardians, and caregivers remain solely responsible for all decisions and for compliance with every legal duty of care owed to that person.

6. Charitable status; no endorsement

Kingley Foundation is a faith-based organization founded by Malcolm Kingley and registered in the State of Washington, organized as a 508(c)(1)(A) faith-based non-profit. Reference to that status is informational only and is not tax, legal, or financial advice; consult your own advisor regarding the treatment of any contribution.

This is an independent website. It is not an official website of, and is not endorsed, sponsored, controlled, or approved by, The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts, or any of its branches or activities. Quotations from Mary Baker Eddy and from the Bible are used for religious, educational, and illustrative purposes and remain the property of their respective rights holders.

7. Authorship and publication claims
